You might notice some glitches during the navigation systems, especially after finishing a text frame. Its NOT A BUG, just a VISUAL GLITCH. So dont worry, you didnt break the game.
(btw if anyone knows how to prevent that please tell me, i tried everything xD)
+ PLEASE RESTART THE GAME AND MAKE YOUR CHOICES IN SHIFT 1 (you can skip the dialogues, dw) TO ENSURE EVERYTHING WORKS PROPERLY IN SHIFT 2.
(And dont forget to read all the warnings at the start of Shift 1, okay? :3)
SHIFT 2 INCLUDE :
- 1 BAD ENDING
- 2 DIFFERENT WAYS TO END THE SHIFT
- 63K WORDS
- 2 EXPLORATION SYSTEMS (with 3 "extra" scenes in the store)
- + 2 OTHER SHORT EXPLORATION SYSTEMS (unlockable under precise circomstances/route)
- 20+ NEW SPRITES/ART
- 15+ NEW BACKGROUNDS
- + almost every scenes have their own variations depending on what you chose before = DEEPLY REPLAYABLE (for example, the "versus" scene between BB and Lane has 7 end varitations.)
I ALSO ADDED TYPING SOUNDS FOR EACH CHARACTERS, PLEASE TELL ME IF ITS ANNOYING WHEN YOU PLAY + I PUT THE TEXTBOX DARKER BC IT WAS A STRUGGLE TO READ :3
I wont say much so you can discover everything by yourself! just know that in order to unlock specific dialogues/scenes etc you have to make different choices in shift 1!

Also, i am sorry if you think the game is a bit slow. I just like leaving small hints and fun/romantic/serious moments between the characters so the whole thing doesnt feel rushed. Thats why i took the liberty of building something slow-paced. x)
(and i think, when the game will be finished, everyone will enjoy replaying it and appreciate that slow burn romance even more :3)
I also think, in order to appreciate a story, you have to appreciate the characters first. ^^ (even tho a certain someone with blue eyes is hard to appreciate xD But i hope this shift will help you appreciate him a little more.)
And... this is a dating sim, but also a story, i HAVE TO take things slow for realistic purposes xD Yes, this will be long... but yk i love long stories so it wont be a problem.
Also, it felt too early to introduce serious horror elements like murders, especially since shift 1 was more of a "demo" and shift 2 is the first "full day" of gameplay. (btw all the next shifts will be as long as this one if not longer :3) But no worries, Shift 3 might be bloody. ^^

I spent a LONG (and had a hard) time thinking about everything for that shift 2 so i hope no one will be disappointed xD i swear that was so exhausting so i am sorry if you spot some incoherences. (there are a lot in the drawings too oops... and also in the way Lane's text messages are written but i was lazy to change them xD)
Please, dont forget that i did all of this all alone just for fun in my free time. Im definitely not a professional at making visual novels and telling stories (i try my best tho!), but i still hope it helped some of you forget your problems for a little while. :3
I already know what to do in Shift 3 (i am especially excited about ONE new exploration system, once you play shift 2, youll know what im talking about xD) but itll maybe take time cuz i am currently learning how to drive xDDD I will also have to draw A LOT of new sprites of the characters (especially their past version) and backgrounds!!
Now i am gonna rest a bit and slow down with the redbull or i am gonna have a heart attack fr xD

I liked that litte Jumpscare when you're waiting for lane to show up, Outside with BB. He's got a temper under all that quiet

I unfortunately love Lane, both as a character and as a love interest (?). The "spit in my mouth, queen" actually made me laugh. Embarrassing. Love the replayability and loved the update in general!!

Oh my godd I'm literally in LOVE with everything about this game. I loved the first shift but the second one just hit diff it was soo good I swear.
I don't personally like Lane that much. I'm def BB's girl.
I see Lane as more of a friend than anything more. I find his character interesting and sometimes funny but there's just something about BB that has me pulled towards him.
I also loved getting to see more sides of both Lane and BB. I loved seeing how BB's demeanor switches almost entirely depending on which route you pick.
Alsoo I loved how each character has a different sound everytime they speak i think it's so fitting.
Tysm for making this game it's prob one of my fav visual novels so far and I'm so excited for the future developments and to see what hidden events we have to unravel in the future. Thank you again and most importantly take caree <33

IM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS GAME EEK ⸜(*ˊᗜˋ*)⸝ im already on edge when shift 3 comes out but I loved every aspect of shift 2!! I got home early and remembered that shift 2 was out and rushed to my laptop to check it out. I fell asleep in the middle of unlocking EVERYTHING but it was totally worth it lol. finished the playthrough as soon as i woke up and the little gallery montage was actually adorable i love it so much ♡(>ᴗ•) i cant wait till shift 3 comes out ☆*:.｡.o(≧▽≦)o.｡.:*☆

i am so invested in this story!! i gen feel like a detective trying to piece together every puzzle piece. you truly have made such an interesting story.
i have so many questions and theories it's not even funny at this point. forgive me if i talk a little too much about it all here.
one of the things that i really like about this is how you can feel bb's presence and 'touch' even when he's not there: the shadow near the door when we are getting ready for shift 2, the bottle being placed near our bed, him outside of the store when we arrive and his(?) bike when we go outside during our shift, the graffiti on the walls in the alley, the text on the bike (correct me of i'm wrong about any of this lol)
plus, the mystery of the red and black helmets is so interesting (i wonder if the old man talking about those two dogs was a metaphor). the fear of red as well ties into it so well. i feel like we have met him before and there is an actual explanation of our fear of red (maybe tied to that red helmet?)
amelia is also so interesting! i wonder why we have a tense relationship now.
anyway, beautiful game, interesting story. this is truly amazing and thank you for your work and for sharing it with us! <3

i remember seeing the shadow but accidently clicking off, spooked me a little! i tried checking out every room and i do think i saw the mad dog logo in the washrooms ദ്ദി◝ ⩊ ◜.ᐟ one more thing i enjoyed is the fact you take us back to the year 2009 (i hope i got that right) everything feels so accurate socially and technically as well.

Omg Lane is such an annoying tsundere, but I really enjoyed his little moments of vulnerability. That "date" scene made me like him a liiiiittle more :3. I think BB and Scarlette's scene was such a cute moment too ❤...
Amelia is still my favorite though ✿. I also really loved the little sprinkles of terror on some routes, they've made me really scared! Mc's fear and everytime that is mentioned blood it's highlighted in red, is such a cool detail! Can't wait for more!I played through almost every route, but I think I've yet to find the one bad ending (or maybe I did and haven't realized? ahaha). Would it be okay if you shared how to get it?

i am so happy you enjoyed it!! :3 i dont think you got the bad ending so ill tell you how to get it!! :3 (SPOILER)
in shift 1: choose "say nothing" to the first choice with the weirdo, then "give him a fake number" (Lane has to "rescue" you) and do NOT choose to watch TV
then in shift 2: have the date with Lane and flirt a lot with him to unlock his route (but don't accept the dare), and in the "beef" scene side with Lane with every option (BB should punches Lane in that path)
and then continue the dialogue and instead of taking the bus, MC will choose to walk since shes less likely to overthink what "might happen" (cuz no tv and MC didnt search to know more about the disappearances)

Just wanted to let ya know the pacing is PERFECT its not boringly slow, it's like those types of slow that make you feel like youre taking an actual part in the story. Like it pulls you in the game's story. And the possibility of this being a slow burn is even better. I often feel that most dating sims dont have enough slow burn to let the story feel in. Being honest it doesnt have MUCH of slow burn but i appreciate the amount already there and the more the merrier !!
