Big Bad Dogs

Okay, I'm slow at picking up on some things, but are Lane and Amelia related? During the conversation with Amelia in the hallway when BB drops us off, the MC comments on her mannerisms that remind her of their brother.  Both the smirking and getting the last word sound like Lane. 

I love this game so much...not only for its plot and characters but also the realistic feelings(so uncomfortable and angry) it brought me when MC encountered those horrible trash. The stretch of insecure and dread and uncomfortable feelings is just so heartbreaking to read.

I love BB!!! He is so cute and polite and restrained(from the outside) but the inside...(like, wow, seriously the dog bite doesn't bark). But he is so weirdly cute I can't. He is silent, but he listen. That's what I really appreciate about him. When the world around MC is all acting against or ignoring her, BB is there listening and acting all nice(well, except when he fight with Lane...). I love the scene where MC ride with him in the rain(that's my first playthrough). The scene at the bus stop where MC touch his helmet is the second best(plz help me he is so cute, he is really like a dog, he is so lovely). Scarlette is cool. But I'm now so curious, why the red helmet? why is it broken? if that's the previous MC then why did the neighbor say it's a man who wear the red helmet? Why and how do BB know MC before all these(why MC forget)? ahhhhh help just tell me what happened!!!!

Lane. Clear ass(that mouth is way more annoying than I could bare). Sometimes I just wish he could shut the f up, but seriously, I start to understand and find him adorable when I get to his route. He is definitely not a bad one, he just don't know how to show it in a good way. He's more like a lost dog that only bark hard but not biting at all...(emmmm especially compared with BB, Lane is not dangerous AT ALL). He is really kinda cute when he jump from annoying MC straight into sorry-not-sorry when MC really is pissed. During times he is not chosen(yep, I did this couple of times) he really act like a kicked dog but it's just too hard for him to reach through his shell and show some real vulnerability. But the cute thing is, we get to peek into his struggles and his other side. 

Please I need to know more about Amelia. What happened between MC and her? They are on such good terms but now she is so bitter on the outside. But I really like her, I wish this route would play a heavier role in future Shifts.

It's a little hard to find all the clues when the images are blurry. I wish we could have a guide for every Shift. I played 5-6 times to get all the things cleared. But still, it's really fun...

Was so obsessed w/ the game I got every possible variation and even found secrets. Overly hyped for Shift 3 !!...

Now. Who's Z ? why were they with W ? why is W Werner ? and Werner BB ? and Z the red helmet person ? and why do I have the growing suspision that the Z person is not some rando but our MC ? Hey! Quick question; one of the warnings at the beginning mentions SA. Is that something that's like alluded to or mentioned in passing or like, very graphically described?

Wow wow WOW. I cant remember the last time i've seriously played a game over and over to make sure i can get every little dialogue and secret possible. This was amazing. The dialogue was so refreshing for some reason, felt really natural and not bloated and just really, really enjoyable to read overall. Or maybe I'm just THAT interested in the lore here.

I loved the little interaction with the old man at the lost dog photo. Man that had me thinking like crazy. It's so fun to like?? Analyze the boys behavior and learn more about them. Oh, AND the mc aswell, I'm really intrigued what our story is.. and gosh, that bad ending 😣 that was rough, but it was so well written. I can't wait for more, I'm really excited!!!

Let's start off with the story telling and general world building; 
the writing was simple, straight to the point, yet very detailed. Fun to read and generally wasn't a dialogue vomit. Just executed very well, all in all
 The black and whites throughout everything gives you that feeling of being on edged, as if something is just gonna jump out, i swear on shift 2 I genuinely felt like somebody was gonna ambush me in the alley. The general art of the environment is also a big chef's kiss, because the little writings on some of the parts of the game gives you that eerie micro bits of lore that makes you want to play more ( and girl trust me I WANT TO PLAY MORE ( had a paper to finish but didn't bc of this VN.. curse you..! ).

next is characters; OH WOW, the characters in this VN honestly I gotta say feels realistic, every single character just felt like somebody that can be somebody IRL. the confrontation between Lane and BB also just felt sooooooo good, and add MC's reaction to the different types of confrontation? Oh i love, because it really did add that sense of urgency to stop a fight between two people. From the minor characters to the major characters, everything just felt so rich! you put a lot of love in this, its admirable and wowie its great.

next is MC; mc feels natural, mc feels like a blank slate but also very full, she literally just embodies someone ( I MEAN AT LEAST IN MY HUMBLE OPINION ) who is a decent 'trying-to-get-by' person. I like how she carries herself throughout all routes basically, you did well. 

next is Lane; what an ass, literally have met thousands of men like this guy, a sad misogynistic dude who got his heart broken because of one relationship and now acts out. I like his character because despite being an ass and very infuriatingly sexist, he also is a character written well to still carry morals, despite being a REALLY shitty person when jealous or upset. He feels natural, real and just a good character.

Amelia; I dont really have any opinion on her right now because there isn't that much scenes with her, but the bitchiness she shows when you go to the BB route doesn't feel force but at the same time kinda does, i like the detail about her hair being red though

BB! ; been a while since i found the yandere of a yandere VN be attractive, im not even gonna lie. I particularly like how fast you make him act natural towards MC, to not be caught that he stalks her by her, choosing his wordings and carefully tip-toing around MC just makes him being written sooo well. When you go for the Lane route too, oh wow, the power going out when the confrontation between him and Lane honestly freaked me out bc I half assumed he was going to do something bad to Lane, but you're dragging that reader anticipation, which i appreciate bc we luv being kept on edge

Love the game and can't wait for more. You have no idea how happy I was to see the option 'slap him.' I wanted to slap Lane a few times, so when that option popped up, I was so happy. I love Lane, but as of now BB is my number one. I will take a stalker over sexism and the gross sexual comments.

AJDHFUSH i played the game like four different times for different outcomes and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED oml i love this game so much and im glad you put your hard work into the creation 

looking through the game files gave me a LOT of questions, so ill be waiting on the edge of my seat until shift 3 comes out

Amé sin duda el juego. Cumplió y hasta superó mis expectativas, no me aburrí en ningún momento, el arte es hermoso y la estructura de cada personaje me hace querer saber más de ellos. Amo a BB. Literalmente estoy enamorada de él. Sin duda espero con ansias el turno 3!

Had a really fun time with the story! I truly enjoyed looking at every detail I was available (and secretly available) to click on and read every thing! I love BB and can't wait to see how the story progresses. The art was super unique and cool even though sometimes I did have a difficult time knowing exactly what I was looking at, luckily the text would fill in the blanks for me.
My only complaint, I had three times where I was kinda stuck because I didn't realize I had to put my mouse in a unmarked direction to exit something. I struggled to find the bathroom in the apartment, the back employee door, the bathroom stall, and I was stuck looking at the work schedule for a little. Not a huge deal but maybe add a small highlight, so you know what to do next since I wasted at least like a minute of clicking or when I was looking for the employee door.. like 10 minutes lol.
Seriously great & fun game! Love the story, love the art, love the handsome biker :)

super interested in this story!! I really do love the idea and the characters and your writing is wonderful and the art is just incredible. 

I am a little confused on some of the timeline tho, because during shift two there was the "date" with Lane and I chose to shut him down and he was annoyed by it but then after finishing the tasks, he comes up and is completely fine? Idk if he's supposed to just do that either way. And then I chose biker boy's side in their argument, he follows the mc to the aisle and then they're outside? Then biker boy shows up at the bus stop, I choose to ask his name and mc says he broke into the store for her? I was a little confused by that but I could have simply missed something, I am unsure. Oh and it said that they walked together too, but the only other interaction they had was him stopping the guy from choking her in the beginning and then failing to buy her a water bottle. Again i could be missing something, but just wanted to point it out in case it was a bug or something!!! 

Again, i really do love this story and am excited to see where it goes!!!
