I can't get over the vibes of the world you created. It's so good. I keep coming back to replay it just to feel the vibes and ambience lol. Also all the branching paths are so cool! I really appreciate that in a VN. I feel like my choices really do matter but also I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything super important if I decide to go down one path instead of the other if that makes sense.

I'm playing on mac and I keep getting stuck in Biker Boy's route when I have to complete the tasks in the store. The dialogue "time to get to work" keeps repeating and I can't progress ? I didn't have any issue completing the tasks in Lane's route. Is it a bug or is there something I'm doing wrong :0
If anyone else feels stuck in the tasks part: I managed to get unstuck, I had to check out the staff door in the back alley by clickling in the bottom and that unlocked the last task in the second alley.
The attention to detail is amazing, like i'm surprised the navigation system is this well made, there must've been a lot of work and thought put into this. This is definitely one of the top things i love from this game, i mean the plot is detailed in it's own ways but everytime i reset to find the easter eggs i somehow always find something else i didn't notice when i was focusing on the storyline only. For example and it might be a spoiler idk but the peephole is definitely something i missed and to think it was marked in red too, i hovered my mouse on the door which is how i saw it and the shadow disapearing when we get our nametag is just so perfect. I always wondered why it was so loud when we get our nametag. That all said i still need one more easter egg..I'm actually going to be addicted to finding it atp xD, if i don't find it by shift 3 i will tweak. That aside i hope you take a break and not overwork yourself <3

SHIFT 2 IS AMAZING!! The choices are expanding even more from Shift 1, and I love it! The CGs are amazing; the characters are all becoming even more interesting. There are so many things to explore, including the dialogues, hidden Easter eggs, and much more! I'm also... starting to fall for Lane...? He's a really interesting character with many layers to peel. I'm so interested in him, and it's not helping that I keep giggling like a teenage girl whenever he shows up on screen </3 There are so many funny moments from Lane, like this one!

The bad ending was unfortunate for MC... just from missing the news alone, she has to face a regrettable fate. The way I gasped too hard at that ending... And also, the alcohol ending is hilarious! I was trying too hard to find the second way of ending the Shift that I almost forgot about the alcohol in the cafe, but I was not disappointed! I find it so funny that these two guys just decided to call a truce because their girl is intoxicated LOL. There are so many scenes that I just absolutely adore, like when BB and PB got a time-out from MC, every scene of Lane turning into a blushing mess (I love this boy failure so much...), and so many more! I would love to share more, but this is already too long lol, so I'll end it here. Thank you so much for the game, I can't wait for your update! Take your time, and have a great time! <3

Just accidentally discovered it myself and thought someone would need to hear it: guys there are like more dialogues with Lane that appear after you keep talking to him even after his 'you just keep clicking hoping i'll do something useful?' But also not just one more dialogue. Do it multiple times
Oh my god, Shift 2 is so, so good! I spent all day playing through the different choices and making sure I didn't miss any small details! Biker Boy is so cute in his route, so charming and unsure —but downright terrifying if the player goes down Lane's route or even makes neutral decisions. I felt actual whiplash at the pure menace at the end of playing through the more neutral route and not unlocking scenes. I forgot this was a horror game for a second. It's so masterfully foreboding and creepy that the juxtaposition made me like Biker Boy even more! And I was so so so unprepared for how masterfully you wrote Lane and his confrontation!
And I feel like you've written Lane to give players the exact feeling that the player character feels about him in game. His words and actions piss me off so bad through the screen but then he'll say something actually funny and I catch myself smiling and kind of charmed!
The new navigation system was also a ton of fun! I'm a completionist, so I did all my chores and explored every item. It was so enjoyable to do that I almost wanted there to be more tasks lol.
And your use of foreshadowing literally had me clawing at the walls!! The bit with the old man had me almost screaming because that analogy works so well?? And then you literally prove what he said in Lane's route and I was banging the keyboard with my fists, I was so excited!!! I'm chomping at the bit to know more about the world and the player character's past. Thank you so much for creating this game for players, I've had so much fun playing it!!!

wooow shift 2 is crazy. Biker Boy? 100% doing his route. Lane? I hate him LOL. Bro gets mad at BB even though he saved us from getting assaulted, helped us restock, AND saved us from the rain? Lane was such an ass for that. That old man's dog metaphor had me thinking. When Lane was nowhere to be found while we got strangled in Shift 1, was he off killing someone in the back? The graffiti in the alley makes me wonder which one of them is a yandere...maybe Lane? Whatever beef YN and Amelia have, I'm excited to see it. This is quickly becoming my favourite visual novel of all time. Shift 2 was absolutely EVERYTHING. The work you're putting into it is so obvious, with how many different scenes/conversations can happen depending on your choices. Every time I played through it, I found something I didn't notice before, whether it was a more detailed scene or an invisible clickable in your navigation systems. Speaking of which, I think I found all of them. The hidden one in the bathroom was one of my personal favs because the detail in there has me SO curious...
Like, oh my god? Your big, beautiful brain is astounding me. The way this is coming together... All the different pathways revealing a detail that's SUPER important in an entirely different pathway... What's up that with red helmet?! WHO ARE WE? WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE NOT TELLING US?

just finished shift 2 and i am v much loving it!! love how awkward, charming, and unsettling biker boy can be. i love how subtle and jarring the horror can be, w the blood stain hallucination and a lil surprise from bb ;] i also like how the old man's ramblings can easily be read as an analogy for bb and lane :]
can i also just say. i love amelia. love her attitude, love the energy between her and mc, love that her hair happens to be the same color as mc's fear. i'm curious as to what the deal is between her and mc, so i'd love to see more of her! great job on this, i look forward to the next update!!
Okay..i wasn't paying much attention but it might be trigged by refusing the weirdo in shift 1 and then going to sleep, not answering Lane's call and then calling the manager in shift 2 because then you'll be locked outside the store and see the bb outside in the rain
taking some time to answer you since i think A LOT of ppl missed a whole ass scene with BB xD (my fault that wasnt obvious) but before leaving your apartment, you can actually pick up an umbrella before leaving, that will unlock a new scene with BB (if youre locked outside ofc) and can unlock one of the extra scene in the store too depending on the choice you make, here a screen of wheres the umbrella (it appears after you take your nametag):
shift 1: choose to refuse the weird customer your number so BB help you out of the situation - watch TV before going to bed
shift 2: don't reply to Lane's messages - take an umbrella before going out (after getting your name tag and taking a bath, return to the bedroom. There will be a pile of clutter on the left side of screen("FALLEN ITEMS"), including an umbrella. After clicking it twice, the text will inform you "its raining outside so you decide to grab the umbrella" -- In the conversation that begins after walking into the alley with BB, select "ASK IF HE TALKS TO NO ONE. EVER" and the subsequent "WAIT FOR HIM TO SAY". This scene can be seen in the subsequent plot.

I just need to say this, LANE DESERVES MORE LOVE. His jokes? Unhinged. Terrible. Hilarious. I physically cannot with how chaotic he is and yet I love every second he opens his mouth. He's the kind of disaster you just want to protect, you know?. Loud, messy, talks way too much, but there's so much heart underneath all the nonsense. You can tell he tries, even when he's failing spectacularly and that makes him real. He’s my favorite. Give that man a hug. And maybe a muzzle. But mostly a hug^^

Yes!! there is, I was struggling with the same; When sitting in the cafe with Amelia, you got to choose something else on the menu (whiskey?) other than the hot chocolate or milkshake. You also get an extra different ending for shift 2, if you choose some other options when they start fighting (which I think is funny and unexpected), and also get a slightly different dialogue with biker boy, when choosing the alcohol option at the bus stop
Really enjoyed shift 2, though I had kept bashing my head trying to figure out how to progress the story in the store (figured it out eventually). But I loved getting to know BB more, and the touches of lore were very much appreciated.
And i finished played the game the sudden loud noises scared me for a sec , but its alright after i got used to it , ohyeah and the tasks are kinda hard to find must just be me tho ^^;

The art was incredible and I was so so happy at all the Lane closeups and interactions that we got :c!! I love that man so much even if he does say some awful things at times! But I’m so weak to dark haired tired looking men and I am really intrigued by what he’s hiding and what’s hurt him so badly in his past.
With Biker Boy, I LOVED how you expanded on his more obsessive nature and showed more of what he was capable of. Some of his scenes, including his confrontation with Lane, him entering your building and the little flips in his attitude towards you had me so on edge, it was incredible to experience!
Amelia was wonderful too! It made me so sad to see the contrast between our friendship before and what it was now. Hoping we get to talk to her more soon and figure things out. Also the little facts she mentioned about Lane made me really intrigued too!

Something to note in shift 2: when I'm done talking to Scarlette, there's no option to back out of the scene into the alley, the cursor didn't seem to pick up anything when I tried hovering all over

Lane is an absolute asshole most of the time but somehow I cannot hate him (i triedd but i can't, ok?, sue me he's hella fine asshole and i do love him when he is not an asshole) and our pookie biker boi (he is so adorable i just wanna keep him in my pocket, maybe a bit scared sometimes but we will work smth out). It's so masterfully foreboding and creepy that the juxtaposition made me like Biker Boy even more! And I was so so so unprepared for how masterfully you wrote Lane and his confrontation!
And I feel like you've written Lane to give players the exact feeling that the player character feels about him in game. His words and actions piss me off so bad through the screen but then he'll say something actually funny and I catch myself smiling and kind of charmed!
The new navigation system was also a ton of fun! I'm a completionist, so I did all my chores and explored every item. It was so enjoyable to do that I almost wanted there to be more tasks lol.
And your use of foreshadowing literally had me clawing at the walls!! The bit with the old man had me almost screaming because that analogy works so well?? And then you literally prove what he said in Lane's route and I was banging the keyboard with my fists, I was so excited!!! I'm chomping at the bit to know more about the world and the player character's past. Thank you so much for creating this game for players, I've had so much fun playing it!!!

This is quickly becoming my favourite visual novel of all time. Shift 2 was absolutely EVERYTHING. The work you're putting into it is so obvious, with how many different scenes/conversations can happen depending on your choices. Every time I played through it, I found something I didn't notice before, whether it was a more detailed scene or an invisible clickable in your navigation systems. Speaking of which, I think I found all of them. The hidden one in the bathroom was one of my personal favs because the detail in there has me SO curious...
Like, oh my god? Your big, beautiful brain is astounding me. The way this is coming together... All the different pathways revealing a detail that's SUPER important in an entirely different pathway... What's up that with red helmet?! WHO ARE WE? WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE NOT TELLING US?

Basically, my long-winded point is that I'm obsessed with this game and I really hope you take care of yourself and take breaks when you need them so you can continue it until the end <3 It deserves ALL the attention, praise, and kind words! just finished shift 2 and i am v much loving it!! love how awkward, charming, and unsettling biker boy can be. i love how subtle and jarring the horror can be, w the blood stain hallucination and a lil surprise from bb ;] i also like how the old man's ramblings can easily be read as an analogy for bb and lane :]
can i also just say. i love amelia. love her attitude, love the energy between her and mc, love that her hair happens to be the same color as mc's fear. i'm curious as to what the deal is between her and mc, so i'd love to see more of her! great job on this, i look forward to the next update!!

Okay..i wasn't paying much attention but it might be trigged by refusing the weirdo in shift 1 and then going to sleep, not answering Lane's call and then calling the manager in shift 2 because then you'll be locked outside the store and see the bb outside in the rain
taking some time to answer you since i think A LOT of ppl missed a whole ass scene with BB xD (my fault that wasnt obvious) but before leaving your apartment, you can actually pick up an umbrella before leaving, that will unlock a new scene with BB (if youre locked outside ofc) and can unlock one of the extra scene in the store too depending on the choice you make, here a screen of wheres the umbrella (it appears after you take your nametag):

This is how I got it:
shift 1: choose to refuse the weird customer your number so BB help you out of the situation - watch TV before going to bed
shift 2: don't reply to Lane's messages - take an umbrella before going out (after getting your name tag and taking a bath, return to the bedroom. There will be a pile of clutter on the left side of screen("FALLEN ITEMS"), including an umbrella. After clicking it twice, the text will inform you "its raining outside so you decide to grab the umbrella" -- In the conversation that begins after walking into the alley with BB, select "ASK IF HE TALKS TO NO ONE. EVER" and the subsequent "WAIT FOR HIM TO SAY". This scene can be seen in the subsequent plot.

I just need to say this, LANE DESERVES MORE LOVE. His jokes? Unhinged. Terrible. Hilarious. I physically cannot with how chaotic he is and yet I love every second he opens his mouth. He's the kind of disaster you just want to protect, you know?. Loud, messy, talks way too much, but there's so much heart underneath all the nonsense. You can tell he tries, even when he's failing spectacularly and that makes him real. He’s my favorite. Give that man a hug. And maybe a muzzle. But mostly a hug^^

Yes!! there is, I was struggling with the same; When sitting in the cafe with Amelia, you got to choose something else on the menu (whiskey?) other than the hot chocolate or milkshake. You also get an extra different ending for shift 2, if you choose some other options when they start fighting (which I think is funny and unexpected), and also get a slightly different dialogue with biker boy, when choosing the alcohol option at the bus stop

Really enjoyed shift 2, though I had kept bashing my head trying to figure out how to progress the story in the store (figured it out eventually). But I loved getting to know BB more, and the touches of lore were very much appreciated.

The art was incredible and I was so so happy at all the Lane closeups and interactions that we got :c!! I love that man so much even if he does say some awful things at times! But I’m so weak to dark haired tired looking men and I am really intrigued by what he’s hiding and what’s hurt him so badly in his past.
With Biker Boy, I LOVED how you expanded on his more obsessive nature and showed more of what he was capable of. Some of his scenes, including his confrontation with Lane, him entering your building and the little flips in his attitude towards you had me so on edge, it was incredible to experience!
Amelia was wonderful too! It made me so sad to see the contrast between our friendship before and what it was now. Hoping we get to talk to her more soon and figure things out. Also the little facts she mentioned about Lane made me really intrigued too!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the second shift so much like that hand-shaking scene is funny af. Lane is an absolute asshole most of the time but somehow I cannot hate him (i triedd but i can't, ok?, sue me he's hella fine asshole and i do love him when he is not an asshole) and our pookie biker boi (he is so adorable i just wanna keep him in my pocket, maybe a bit scared sometimes but we will work smth out).
